I’m an uncle all over again

It’s always a joy to see a new addition to the family. My brother’s a father all over again. That makes me an uncle all over again too.

As part of welcoming the newborn and the mother’s return, a series of dishes is prepared. So it’s not everyday that my mum makes this specialty dish that involves pig’s trotters, ginger and bottles of black vinegar. Yup, pig’s trotters braised in vinegar. Weird you say? Try it, the taste might just grow on you.

My Niece, Chloe

Here’s my niece, Chloe.
Lots of things my parents say about her, like she eats kang tang i.e. only understands English.
And she’s got the gift of distraction and (almost) destruction.
